Dr Mimi Kessler presented a talk, “Steppe by Steppe: In Search of the Great Bustard in Central Asia” at the Summer Meeting of the Ornithological Society of the Middle East, the Caucasus and Central Asia. The virtual conference drew viewers from 42 countries around the world. Her presentation shares pictures of expeditions through Central Asia, and she discusses the ecology of the Great Bustard and threats to its survival in Central Asia.
