Beginning in January 2020, Eurasian Bustard Alliance will support master’s student Jurabek Tulaev of the National University of Uzbekistan in his research on Great Bustards in northeastern Uzbekistan. This area is used as overwintering habitat by Great Bustards breeding in northern Central Asia. This research is part of a larger project of the Uzbekistan Society for the Protection of Birds. Financial assistance is provided by National Geographic.
