Ruslan Urazaliev has worked at ACBK since 2010. In 2010 he graduated from L. N. Gumilev Eurasian National University, specializing in Biotechnology. His scientific interests include studying steppe birds and steppe ecosystems, developing networks of Protected Areas, and sustainable agricultural management. Ruslan conducts ACBK’s work on the Sociable Plover, the planned natural park “Taldykol” in Nur-Sultan, the Central Asian Flyway Initiative, and is involved in many projects of ACBK related to avian species. Ruslan has conducted research on Little Bustard populations in Kazakhstan. He lives in Nur-Sultan, the capital of Kazakhstan.
